Unfriendly staff

Longs fortunately has survived the popularity of the adjacent Sainsburys. Some of their fruit and vegetables are less expensive than the local supermarkets and we value their presence in Ringwood. On the downside the staff there seem sullen and we seldom hear a kind or welcoming greeting from any of them, this has been evident for a few years now and detracts from the experience of using their premises. Perhaps someone will pass the advice to them that a smile and a welcoming attitude can do wonders for shoppers using their shop. We also think opening on a Sunday morning could greatly boost their sales and provide a valuable asset to the town.
